Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Ernesto is tall and slender, standing at 182cm (6') with some very lean muscle tone. He's the sort of guy who looks like he stays active, but does not put any effort into actually working out beyond the physical activity he does for fun.

2. How old is he?
25

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Ernesto carries himself in a relaxed but upright manner. He has put a lot of thought into training himself into his preferred posture, which means he comes across just a little too at ease to seem stiffly professional, but without any slouching. The goal is to look approachable and friendly, but confident and capable enough to be relied on.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Ernesto is in excellent health. He's physically fit and shows no signs of any sort of disease or conditions.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Ernesto moves with an ease that is more practiced than it might look. When he walks it's a with a relaxed gait that suggests he's not in a hurry, with a loose body that moves easily and confidently.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Ernesto is a good looking guy in an unpolished and slightly scruffy surfer/skateboarder vibes kind of way. He's got a wide, friendly smile and an easy-going charm that enhances what looks are already there. He's aware that he's handsome enough to get away with a slightly flirtatious remark or two without getting most people angry at him, though he doesn't spend much time reflecting on his physical appearance.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Ernesto has light skin, hair and eyes, despite coming from a climate and place where that's probably less common. Equally surprising, his skin is largely unmarred despite his past as a soldier.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Both his blonde hair and ears are soft, fluffy, and a little unruly. His hair flips and turns on itself in whatever direction it wants, looking pretty constantly wind ruffled.

9. What color are his eyes?
Blue

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
A pair of floppy, golden ears that sit towards the top of his head, and a large, fluffy tail that has a slight curve to it.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
He's the kind of guy to carry a lot of stress that he tries to hide, and as such he's got a classic jaw and shoulder stress combo. He's young enough that the pain hasn't really started to hit him yet, but the chances are good he'll develop some in the future.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Ernesto prefers light, bright colors and casual clothing. Though he can and will dress up in something classier and more muted as the occasion calls for, he enjoys anything from brights to pastels. Blues, yellows and greens are particular favorites of his, and he enjoys comfortable clothing with a lot of fun accessories.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
While he can and will get things tailor fitted to him if needed, he often wears things on the slightly looser side. Ernesto does not drown himself in fabric, but something that breathes well in the summer heat and can be tugged away from the body as needed is usually preferred.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Weirdly, yes. Even when his job should theoretically require a much higher level of professionalism from him. So far his employers have let him get away with it.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer briefs.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Higher-pitched, breezy and youthful. Ernesto's cadence is friendly and pleasant to listen to.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
His voice is soft and fast in pace, streaming from him with easy confidence. He only hesitates when he's stuck on an idea, but otherwise is able to ramble on with little difficulties.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Ernesto opts for more casual and friendly speech, and sometimes uses light slang and specific Iberian (aka Spanish) phrases peppered in even when speaking other languages. He likely has something very similar to a Venezuelan accent.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He's fluent in Iberian, Yanese, Victorian and Leithanian (Basically Spanish, Chinese, English, and German)

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
What language he speaks probably has more to do with what language the people around him are speaking, considering he's fluent in several. He does still toss in some of little bits of his native language on occasion.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's excellent at rambling off the cuff. His mind goes a mile a minute, which makes it easy for him to talk without having to stop and consider what he's saying beforehand.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
While he isn't one to use a lot of highfalutin language, Ernesto is pretty articulate, and regardless of circumstances remains steadily articulate.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's a bright little dog. His formal education was interrupted by his mother's death, and his subsequent entry into the army, but that hasn't stopped him from taking on pretty high level jobs that require a lot of book balancing and number crunching. He's developed mostly street-smarts by circumstance, but is able to translate that into book-smarts, quickly picking up a fourth language on top of the three his already speaks, and delving into investigative work with little trouble.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He'll do both as the situation allows. While long term scheming and deliberating is where he excels, Ernesto is pretty good at coming up with things on the fly when people throw a wrench into his plans. Things won't always work out for him, but he's still at least quick to come up with plans and possibilities.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
While he admires idealists, he's far more grounded and practical himself. Ernesto is a logical and careful thinker, who really turns ideas over and over (and over and over) in his head as he tries to figure them out from every possible angle. He's an over-thinker to the extreme.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
An interrupted one from sometime during his teen years. After that most of his education took place in the military. The army did provide him with some good fundamentals when he was in training, but considering he was in an active war zone, Ernesto probably did not have all the supplies needed for a thorough education.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Business and communication are Ernesto's particular areas to shine. He's fairly charismatic, and does well with small scale diplomacy as well. His area of interests are more wide ranging. Ernesto is interested in people, places, history, business, the arts, and all sorts of other things that seem like they'd make for a later lively conversation.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Ernesto is extremely even-tempered, cheerful, and laid-back to an alarming degree. The fact that he never shows signs of being upset actually genuinely confuse and concern some of the people around him.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
New people and situations get a friendly face and a warm welcome, regardless of how Ernesto actually feels about them. Unless they're actively being hostile towards him, Ernesto tries his best to put his best foot forward when meeting new people, and rolls with the punches with new situations.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
It's about a 50/50 shot depending on the situation.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Flight. Ernesto will stand his ground and fight, but he doesn't like doing it if it's avoidable.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
His humor is friendly and inoffensive if you don't know him well, but veers into teasing and picking on people the better he does. As his comfort goes up with an individual, the likelihood that he'll rib them goes up too.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
No.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The death of his mother, which not only brought his childhood to an abrupt in through tragedy, but literally put into motion his entire life being uprooted as his father took him away from his hometown.

14. What does he fear?
There are a lot of things that Ernesto is afraid of, but the thing that plagues his mind the most is his uncertainty about the future. This goes both for his own personal future, but on a larger scope the future of his country and his world as well.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
TBD. This isn't me putting this off to come back to later either, Ernesto himself is still in the process of figuring out what those hopes and aspirations even are.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
The fact that he's not as constantly happy-go-lucky as he acts isn't something he's that worried about people uncovering. In truth, it's pretty obvious he's not actually as upbeat as he pretends to be, but some of the layers he's hiding under that sunny disposition is something he's not sure he wants people poking around in. There are a lot of wounds, some general and easy to guess at, and some more specific that he wants to protect from prying eyes.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
While Ernesto loved his mom, the last year of her life was marred by her pain and suffering with her illness. He misses her, but the idea of her suffering for longer would be horrific to him. Meanwhile, his relationship with his dad is quite strained. While he admires the man, the two of them have extremely different views of the world, and his father is not a man who is good at heaping praise onto his son. The clear disappointment in Ernesto for his views being "warped", without proper showing of the pride he did have in him gave a bitter coating to some of Ernesto's feelings for his father, even if the love he holds for the man is strong enough that he's willing to compromise his own beliefs for him.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
One adopted sister, Rafaela. The two of them spent a lot of their older childhood together, and after her father died, Ernesto's father took her in as his own daughter. The two of them were able to work together for a common cause, but without their dad there to act as a go between, the siblings have drifted from one another. They're very different people in almost every conceivable way, and Ernesto finds he doesn't have much to talk to her about.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
No.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Rafaela's father was like an uncle to him, and helped raise Ernesto during his years in the army, before his Tio tragically passed in an attempt to save Ernesto's dad's life.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Ernesto is the type to have a lot of friendships that tend towards the shallower side. He does not have a best friend.

6. Does he have other close friends?
He does have several good friends who will help with all sorts of things, even if Ernesto is the type to keep up a wall between his emotional pain and other people. His friends don't mind, because even if Ernesto doesn't let them in completely, he's still a pretty good friend otherwise.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Ernesto is the type to make friends wherever he goes. Take him from everyone he knows and plop him into a new setting? He'll quickly form new bonds and make new friends.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
He is not.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
A girl in his town in the grade above him. She was pretty, smart, kind, and had a really mean volleyball serve. The crush lasted a good few years, but died when he was taken away from his home by his dad. He hasn't had any serious crushes in his adult life. Flings happen regularly for him, and attraction is common, but none of them have been important enough to note.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Ernesto wouldn't even know where to begin looking for a real partner rather than a short term boy/girlfriend to have fun with. He avoids people who seem to seriously want something romantic with him, or quickly ends relationships that seem like they're going that way.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
No.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Not really.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
He's bi, right in the middle.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Ernesto enjoys sex. It can get messy, but for the most part the way he does it keeps it easy and strings free. He wants to have fun with people and have a good time, without the complications of deep emotions getting involved. Sex isn't the most important thing in the world to him, but considering his looking for sexual partners more than romantic ones, he's more likely to find it than not. If someone ever managed to snag his heart and get him to commit though? He could live a life of celibacy if they did not ever want to have sex.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Ernesto has a praise kink, but of the sort where he does the praising. He likes to compliment his partner, and is happy to dive into a little body worship with them. He's not a masochist though, so while he'd be willing to let a partner take control and even rough him up a little, any serious pain is going to kill his interest in sex.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He's a Taurus in Western astrology, and doesn't have a birth year, so the Chinese zodiac is impossible to figure out.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He is not religious or spiritual in any way, and these do not play any important part in his life.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Very little that he isn't willing to bend or break. While he doesn't want to kill or cause a lot of pain and suffering for others, even that is something that Ernesto has been willing to flirt with when someone important to him needed him to.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Any beliefs different from his own are met with curiosity. Ernesto does not feel that he's right about anything he does, and he's open to hearing about what other people think and belief. It's not the hardest to way to new views either, though it does take more than just one conversation to get him there.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
None that are overt.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Ernesto isn't super wealthy, but he lives comfortably and without massive debt.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
While Ernesto's dad is a big name in the military, he himself isn't anyone special. He's just a guy, and he's pretty content not being some big name that people should know.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Right now he has a room inside Rhodes Island, like many of the operators that joined up with the organization.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Ernesto has a side hustle of selling, customizing, and reselling weapons. A lot of his money goes into this business. Otherwise he enjoys drinking and some partying. He also will buy clothing and equipment to keep his skateboard well maintained.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He is an operator for a paramilitary group run by a pharmaceutical company, which... sure is something. He does good work for this group despite it. Probably more morally upright work than he did as a trade commissioner or soldier, and certain more than he did as a terrorist.

He also had a side-hustle as an arms dealer, and that had spanned a few careers.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Ernesto enjoys playing sports, enjoying the bar and club scene, skateboarding, weapons customization, and generally hanging out with interesting people to find out more about them.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He is a drinker, but he's not too bad about drinking in excess. He eats regular meals, and tries to keep a pretty balanced diet. None of his eating habits are too unusual.
